AGICOA's environment



General

Headquartered in Geneva and working within various national legislative frames, AGICOA participates, with other rightsholders organisations in licensing agreements with cable operators to collect and to distribute the payments of royalties to the producers and/or their rightsholders who have declared their works with AGICOA.

AGICOA is a non governmental, non-profit association working at international level with intensive collaboration with its national partner organisations.

Cooperation with other rightsholders' organisations

In most countries, collecting societies of the various groups of rightsholders have concluded so-called global licensing agreements with cable operators. In many European countries, AGICOA and its national partners participate in such contracts or otherwise co-operate with rightsholders' and broadcasters' organisations such as:

AGICOA's structure

AGICOA is an association, which structure is composed of a General Assembly, a Board of Directors and an Executive Committee ruled by its Statutes.

The General Assembly is the highest body of the Association and is composed of Members. Attendees of the General Assembly meetings are the representatives of its Members.

The Board of Directors is constituted by Delegates designated by Members fairly representing the different countries among the members.

The Executive Committee is elected by the Board of Directors and oversees the Association's administration:
